Capital Special Vehicles Pty Ltd (registered in 1991) has a vast range of experience in the manufacture and the modification of Specialised Vehicles, in car, van, bus, light commercial and taxi areas, including making vehicles wheelchair accessible with either a lowered floor conversion or wheelchair lift, step and seating adaptations and disabled driver's hand controls for the mobility challenged and handicapped.
Capital Special Vehicles Pty Ltd employ qualified trades people in computer aided design (CAD), body making, chassis engineering, automotive electrical, mechanical, re-finishing and trimming areas of the motor trades. With extensive knowledge and experience we combine skills from various areas, forming a strong innovative team.
Capital Special Vehicles are the pioneers for the automotive wheel chair accessibility industry, with the introduction of hydraulic hoists into large buses, interstate coaches and many various vans for private and community use. Including the manufacture and fitting of new doors for dedicated entry of wheelchairs. Not only lifts, but also ramps were installed into low floor urban buses.
